IEI keypad reprogram to change the code

This is Door• Gard Command IEI 212 keypad.
The default master code is 1234.
• If you forgot the master code or it is not working, momentarily push SW1, (program switch on the circuit board) to enter programming mode and than Press 46 # 00000 # 00000 # * * ( option #19 on the Programming Options chart ). Goodluck!

TO RESET WITHOUT KNOWING THE CODE:

unplug the keypad power (i think its a 12 pin 6x2 black molex type) then from that plug, find the wires coming off the end of it that are BROWN, WHITE, and WHITE WITH YELLOW STRIPE. Cross those 3. Then plug the device in once you have them connected. This will put you into programming mode.


from there type 1# (NEW CODE) * (NEW CODE) * and then * to exit. all done.
