This is one of my mother's favorite gospel songs. She just loves theRev. James Cleveland. If Churches still gave this incredible feeling and connection I would probably still go.
These lyrics are insanely beautiful. Nothing out now in the gospel world compares.

In the late '50's to the mid '60's my mom sang with the LA Mass Choir. We attended James Cleveland's church. While he was preaching he would always have a handkerchief in his hand. When it got good to him he would throw that kerchief as far as he could and one of the Deacons would go get it and give it back to him. This happened throughout his sermon. Powerful.
