We spent 3 months in Firenze earlier this year, and will respectfully agree to disagree with you. The idea of spending a minute in Starbucks in Italy seems like a waste of time and money. However, the idea of getting a work space for a couple of hours with free wifi is a valid point. Keep up the great work as always. Btw, check out the British Institute on Wednesday nights. Best kept secret in Florence, and it shouldn't be.

I don't like Starbucks coffee even in. America. Why would anyone would go to Starbucks when in the birthplace of the best coffee, poured in real cups for the fraction of the price of Starbucks coffee to go in a paper cup?

So what you’re saying is I should go ride my Vespa around my local Starbucks to give the patrons a genuine sensation of being in Italy lol.

One thing Starbucks might have is plant based milk for those who can’t have cows. I never saw soy anywhere so it was espresso all the way for me.

The ironic thing is the owner of Starbucks started the chain because he was inspired when he went to Italy and experienced a coffee bar…to me it’s just another example of gentrifying these beautiful European cities. So glad I did most of my traveling in the past ! Young people don’t have a clue of what they are missing…

I had to double-check to see if this was an April Fools video or not. As an American, I don’t think I would want to go to Starbucks in Italy unless they had free restroom access or something like that.

In India, in Bangalore, and across the country the Starbucks runs on the actual coffee machines with the porta filter and the grinders to grind them coffee beans..

Great videos 👍📸

My wife and I are Americans; we moved to Florence a1-1/2 year ago. Enjoyed your videos as we frequent Gilli, Paczkowski, and more. Curiously, what is you go to for dinner in Florence? or perhaps top 3 favorite restaurants?

I think visiting Starbucks in different countries is like visiting McDonalds in different countries, its just fun to try out new menu items of a global chain. its also sad that this will cannibalise the local coffee shops. the Starbucks here in London all use the push button machines and are very much a fast food vibe rather than a nice cafe experience. nice video! I can't believe you like the Oleato!! for me it was the worst!

There is no Starbucks anywhere near me. Not even sure if there is one in the entire country (I live in Australia).

If you really had to go to Starbucks in Italy, you had to go to the one in Milan.

I love the sweet creamy concoctions from Starbucks. When my wife and I travel through Italy next year, we might just stop at Starbucks for our American coffee fix. I am so looking forward to all the great regional Italian foods but am not so sure about the Italian coffee options.

Sadly I'm an ice coffee person. Damn the mermaid! Good to know where I can do some work while on the road.... out side my room. And where I can get a Venti iced coffee

The only reason to go to Starbucks is to remind yourself how bad American coffee is. Never had a bad coffee in Italy.

I live on Hilton Head Island and on the small piece of land there are seven Starbucks, three of which are in grocery stores. Talk about global domination, haha
