🇲🇾 Impressive Malaysia Airlines A380 Flying at Farnborough.

The A400M is pretty big, but the A380 is in a class of its own, its the daddy.

Superb plane, and many many thanks to Malaysian Airlines who were so kind to my young son when he had to travel alone on an 18 hour flight, and wasn't feeling well. They upgraded him to 1st Class ! Maybe they somehow knew that I had spent a happy three years in their amazing country when I was a small boy.

Opinions of this magnificent aircraft vary widely, but for me it is one of the most beautiful designs ever conceived. Many large aircraft look unwieldy, whether intentional or not; such as the Antonov 225, which although I'm sure serves its purpose, and no doubt has its fans, is to me one of the ugliest objects ever built to fly. The A380 has been described by some in similar terms, but for me it's not just the sheer size, but that somehow, whether by accident or by design, it simply looks right. No matter which angle you look at it from, it just looks right in every way. And then, when you consider its size and weight, it's possible to think that this magnificent object will surely labour slowly into the air, looking for all the world as if it's struggling to break free of the ground. But when it does take off, it looks absolutely effortless, and remains that way in flight, and on landing. It looks good in the air. It looks good on the ground. My favourite aircraft of all, bar none.

Beautiful show and livery of this a380! Great video. The runway looks so short from this angle, almost like the aircraft isn't going to stop in time

Very majestic plane, it's like a Seagull in the skies with it's gigantic wing-span, but also very noisy due to it's larger engines, which it needs especially for take-offs. I think they will be around for a very long time to come.
