CURT basket cargo carriers feature a strong bolt-together design and are made with heavy-duty carbide steel and a tubular construction for increased strength.

This particular basket cargo carrier features a 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" shank with a 2" x 2" adapter sleeve to be able to fit most receiver-type trailer hitches. It can accept up 500 lbs. of cargo and has a durable black powder coat finish to resist rust, scratches and UV damage.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and a video is worth a thousand pictures. Reviews of this product made it seem really hard and aggravating to assemble because of the badly written instructions, so I found this video, and it clearly shows the alignment of parts. I can see how it would be aggravating if the instructions did not show the alignment, as this video clearly does. Reviewers elsewhere have assembled it incorrectly and had to take it apart and redo it to get everything to line up. Thanks for making this.
