I am doing exam in next month. each time I practice, wrong answers come from MCQ. I ll try this. Thx a lot.

Dear Mr. Ryan could you please tell me how to choose an answer in this listening multiple choice question? I struggle to find a strong evidence to support my choice; all three options seem quite possible. Apparently the right one is 1 but initially I was thinking of 3, simply got confused there. How should I deal with it, rely on keywords or think of any other clues?

- Staying motivated always leads back to my childhood. As a kid growing up in the 80s my initial inspiration then was knowing what I wanted to look like and become when I grew up and that's always going to be with me. Even to this day I think about it all the time, even when I'm lifting. I have always wanted to be fit and to get better. Seeing the gains over the years, even the short-term ones, and being featured in fitness publications, all of these things motivate me to go back to the gym for my next workouts.

What is the main source of motivation for Tom?
1) Realizing his achievements.
2) Seeing his photos in the media.
3) His childhood memories.

It is very difficult to make notes quickly while listening if some word is long. But if we can make notes then your strategy will really work wonders as it will help us to choose all the correct answers after audio. Thanks for making this video.
