In Episode 24 of Truck House Life, I fabricate some custom mounts and remove the truck house camper, then show you how I apply a special varnish for waterproofing the camper. If you are looking to make your own quick-release camper jacks, what I made here works great! Enjoy!

Thanks for teaching me about important stuff about maintaining things for life that I wouldn’t have known about otherwise

Still, my all time favorite rig setup. I'd love to have this type of setup one day. I have yet to see something else that has caught my eye like yours did. It's perfect. My dream rig.

Excellent job doing the maintenance on the truck house.
I like your ingenious jack system.

That would have been a great time to weigh the truck and then reweigh it after you loaded it back up to find out exactly how much it added. But love your setup. I've got a customer that watches your channel and wants me to build him one exactly like yours.

I can't lie when you pulled the truck out and I was looking at the pipe jacks.... I was worried, man those things had a BEND going on... I was like QUICK DROP DOWN ON THE SAW HORSES !!!

You could add a waterproof siding with more insulation then it would be weatherproof

Loving your videos. I was thinking of additional gear attachment points with those new receivers. Jerry cans, bike or kayak racks. Look on internet for Jimmy Buffet Sportsmobile. He has his surf boards attached to the side of his rig. Enjoy your day.

In the marine/yacht industry we sand between coats to prevent flacking/peeling later, just scratch it. 800grt.

That's funny as hell that you said it broke right after you complimented it LOL

Imagine, if you were able to back the truck out into a lake and drive the camper off from inside like a boat. That would so cool. Hahaha

Enjoyed your vid! You have a super set up... 4 coats should do the trick for awhile. Jack brackets turned out great. Mr Mcgiver! Haha! Hope the cutouts work ok.. might want to sand a little more.. Amazing rig! Sure like the wood burning stove👍👍 B Deacon

Thanks for the update on preserving that treasure. One quick question, Why not coat the part below the top of the bed that’s mostly unseen, with spray bed liner, flexseal or something that prevents rot and is a one time thing. Seems the elements you’re in up there would wreak havoc on that part? Fantastic build, fantastic videos, I may send a small donation to keep them coming? I fixed up my first car, a 1965 ford van in 1976, lived in it the summer of 1979 at 19 years old in Cape Hatteras KOA when I worked there. This brings back some fond memories and we’re able to enjoy your adventures even though we can’t be there, thanks

I would recommended eye protection with power tools like the one you were using, I think it was a grinder.

Nice fix to the cabin off set-up. Here's what's so amazing to me, not knowing until i watched . Pettit Paint has been a customer of mine for 30 yrs, 10 min from my house, rockaway, NJ ( read the label) Really good stuff, i used to use their bottom paint on my boat. Tell me if that label has a manufac. date on it ? It's pronounced "Pet It", not petit, just sayin ~peace~
