A Day In The Life: RAF Akrotiri Air Traffic Controller

My Dad was stationed there and we lived in Akrotiri for three years starting in 1964. He was in Air-sea Rescue and flew many varied recuse missions from picking lightening pilots out of the bay to local fishing boat crews who's boat got in to difficulties. fantastic memories.
