Friendly reminder that aluminum and steel bikes can pretty much be fullty recycled easily and tons of times. Most plastics can only be recycled a couple of times. Than and plastics hate uv and public bikes are left in the sun a lot.

I mean this bike seems to be painted -> uv deterioration isn't an issue. Steel and aluminum on the other hand can corrode.
The recycling argument indeed is a bit difficult.

Wonder how much this huge bike weights 😮

IGUS is a big name in the field and I love the idea, but a bike that's going to degrade isn't great. Aluminum and steel bikes are already recyclable. Carbon is not, but other than forged carbon there's not much that can be done with it.

Whats the enemy of fishing nets… UV and Corrosive deterioration.
Nothing new under the sun, or under the sea, in a plastic bike.

Good try Patrick said Sponge Bob
