Moving CUBASE User Settings to a New Computer? Here's how I did it

In today’s video, I’m going to walk you step-by-step through my process for transferring my Cubase settings from my old PC to my new MacBook Pro.
I’ll also share some other helpful tips, like where to find the settings in your computer’s folder structure, in case things don’t copy over perfectly.

This is really good information. My wife has her own setup of Cubase and the Profile Manager comes in handy when I have to help her out. I also use backup software that performs a daily backup of my projects and Cubase settings to an external drive.

Thanks for your continued sharing. FYI- at 1:12 into this video you were displaying Cubase’s Profile Manager but initially and likely inadvertently called it “Plug-in Manager”. You always referred to it as Profile Manager subsequently. Keep up your good work Chris, it’s much appreciated.

Nice tip! I will keep this in mind when I need to reinstall Cubase on my desktop pc.
I have another question: on the eq section of the channel strip there are three parts that go from black to grey. Why is this? Care to share a light on this in a new video?

Great timing of this video, Chris. I am just about to purchase a new Music PC and this will help make life a little easier. It's just a shame that the plugins can't be done this way. That is going to be a long, drawn-out affair, lol.

I cannot find any help in my situation . How can I nstall one Cubase 13 on diferent computer machines ? I was not given any "e-license code" from Stinberg. Only little shorter "downlod Acces Code". And now when I try to go through whole Authorisation proces it does not take me to my Activation Menager ? Oh. I olso didint run yet CUBASE 13 on first computer but I was able to download.. Then I decided to instal it on A newer computer.. An I am Stock... What did I miss...? Can you Help mi VIa direct Privat conversation on E-mail for instance ?

Hey Chris! I love your videos! I’m trying to figure out how to automate creating 32 new audio tracks and changing the input channel for each one to their respective inputs without having to go through all of them. Too much room for human error in a high-stress situation. Can you help me out?
