I used 20 lb test thinking it was gonna be good enough to do the job. Well. I caught 2 Redfish, 4 Snook one being a 20 pound trophy.... But then... I hooked into a swimming volkswagen... I could not move it, it would take 300 feet of line then swim closer making me think I was making progress but then it would just take another 200 or 300 feet of line. Eventually after 2 hours of getting owned I realized it was not gonna tire out so I just let em go, then I rage quit and left the Everglades.

I do have to say for the level you have to be for the ardix its definitely more worth going to michigan yesterday I was level 30 and went straight there (ignoring my own advice of staying a few levels over but I had money so I wasnt too worried ) and I can say it was the best thing I did as I'm now filling my net in 40 minutes catching 200 lbs of pike making alot of money and leveling up I'm now 34btw so all in all I'd have to say tarpon isnt worth it its definitely fun but yeh

If you go to the right with medium spoon you can catch a lot of red drum which are heavy and a lot of money

Not sure if the game has updated in the past year, or if they just made the tarpon that much more elusive, but, the big lily pad area in the center is just over 6 ft deep, I wasnt getting anything with leader length set as low as possible which was 10 inches or around there. Decided to put the leader to 60 inches, that's 5 ft, was getting more bites with that, might just be me I'm unsure. Great vid though, helped with knowing what size hooks to use, I was overshooting it before with 5/0 and 6/0...

im doing the everglades exploration 2 mission, alls i need to catch is the tarpon, im at 8:43 pm, i wonder if they can be caught at evening/night hours.on my windows 10 account i did catch a tarpon at night at infinty tunnels the right water area on a crankbait, Zabs, you know what i forgot to put in backpack..the monster tarpon bait

If anyone is having trouble with finding a tarpon, you can use #4 Barbless with a large minnow about 20 inches down and cast straight out at about -118, 46, need to have a decent float rod like the Ardex 13' 2" and for the reel I was using the Hornet Swarm 4000, I got it at level 29. Could never get it to hit with DLC bottom rod :( hope this helps anyone struggling like I was!

Is it worth it going to neherin river or falcon lake I’m level 25 very nearly 26 and my advance licence expires today for rocky and I’m finally getting bored of it but it’s no doubt the best money farm I have come across only 1660 travel and I make back 6500 in a day
