The tour behind the scenes is very interesting. I always knew that there was something going on, but I'd never seen some of the elements that Maggie and Pat showed the viewers. I like how the contestants see the category and the letters that have been called as well as the number of each letter on that screen depending on the puzzle.
I always find it interesting and humorous that Pat called those devices for the toss-ups "buzz-in things." Alex Trebek always called those things "signaling devices" on Jeopardy! I call those things signaling devices.
Maggie and Pat did such a great job with the tour. I can see why Wheel of Fortune has been very popular for decades. Wheel and its sister show, Jeopardy!, have been my favorite early evening programs for years.

When I was on the show the “used letter board” was cardboard letters on kind of a clothesline and they flipped them over after they were called. They’ve come a long way since the 80’s

Always wondered what contestants were looking at off over to one side. Now I know!
I could tell Pat was looking at some type of monitor for # of letters.

We love Pat and Vanna and the Wheel of Fortune! Our family has been a Wheel Watcher for many many years. I can remember the wheel of prizes that would spin around to reveal all kinds of things for the contestants to choose from! I often wondered if anyone ever picked the statue of the dog for a prize? Spin on Pat and Vanna!
PS: I even share my birthday with Vanna on February 18th!

Up Close to the set and the Camera Quality really captures the imperfections of the scenery! 😲🤯 When the Camera is far away, and I presume it's a more *higher definition camera* being used there for shows instead of this one for the sneak peak tour, it looks clean, with no imperfections, almost "too clean"....

But that's the magic of cinematography and camera quality being able to capture the same environment *under a different lens.* 🧐

I just learned what I was always wondering about how many E's are in the puzzle. I thought he had a mic in his ear and they would tell him. It happens really fast. Maggie is a beautiful daughter. I always wondered what the contestant's view was like also. Blinding with lights. I also can't wait to see Vanna's outfit. We never saw her dressing room with 1000 dresses. The set would be nothing without Vanna. Live you Vanna! Thanks guys!
