In 2023, Rico wasn't very popular. This year he just gradually became the most popular brawler in the game. So happy to see my main and favorite brawler gain so much recognition after like 4 years.

it’s funny cuz before the skin/hypercharge was added, NOBODY was talkin about rico or playin him, he was a genuinely forgotten brawler. but ever since, he’s been everywhere, and out of nowhere, players started to complain about him and call him “no skill”, it’s confusin cuz it’s an complaint that came out of nowhere, now that he’s hypercharged, all of a sudden he’s no skill. ive even seen people place him at the same rank as edgar mico and kit, which is def jus wrong.

Hes just a really solid brawler. Like you said, hes just colt but can shoot through walls and cant miss lmao. Also the gadget to counter his assassin weakness of course. I maxed rico this ranked season and found myself picking him nearly every match.

im a rico main and people only use it because of the new skins, most are just horrible and pick him in really open maps where he cant even bounce, even though rico is easy to use in my opinion these people using him for the skin are probably one of the worst players

cause he’s rly unskilled, he will somehow get you no matter where u are, and his super deals a lot of damage, the gadget is also unbelievably broken, it makes him
basically uncounterable

I've been a rico main essentially since I started playing brawl stars (around late 2019) and I don't understand why suddenly so many people use him in maps where he makes absolutely no sense or not even using his bounces and just using him as a colt

As a rico main I don’t find rico too hard to play against, you just have to know how he works and the best ball bouncing positioning in maps, his gadget on on the other hand should be nerfed, ridiculous damage 😅, most of the rico players out there rn suck tho because of that new hyper charge skin
