What people's were missing;
Meiteis just want to downgrade to schedule tribe which their ancestors didn't accept, because they are a nation, an indigenous peoples of the valley but not the hilly, and a more advance class. Morever they complain about tribals can buy land in the valley but meitei cannot, which can be solve by changing their capital to tribal areas so that they can buy hilly land to make capital. How capital will grow and develop if you dont want to sell your land😂

The root cause of this issue is the infiltration of Manipur Territory by Myanmar Kukis. Kukis of Manipur are fine with the mingling and merging with their brethren from Myanmar, but is not okay for the Meiteis or Nagas. Ask the Nagas.... Myanmar Kukis need to got back to Myanmar or to Mizoram where they are welcome.
