Thanks for this clearly presented review. I've used Grammarly for a few years now and like it a lot. For me, the only problem with Grammarly is that it will only work on relatively short amounts of text. From your review, I got the impression that ProWritingAid is not as restrictive in this regard...but even if that's the case, I just didn't like what I saw here of the ProWritingAid interface...so I guess I'll stay with Grammarly.

She forgot to mention Grammarly only offers up to 2000 prompts so if you write 30+ articles a month this will be a bit of problem! Each article can have 100+ prompts if you write 2000 word blogs (and if your grammmar is bad). This is a deal breaker imo and something you need to consider. To my knowledge Prowriteraid is limitless.

Both checkers are worth it. It depends on what you look for. When you want Grammarly to do X and Pro to do Y, and you want X, Grammarly will do. Both are as much useful and inaccurate. It really depends on the user's needs. Using them for creative projects won't be good. Spellcheckers sometimes overdo texts and use too much punctuation than needed. As long you know what you're doing, you're good. Just follow your thoughts' context.

Do either of these tools allow you to define your target audience (e.g., middle grades) so that their suggestions are appropriate for that age group?

Thanks for the video found it very For those of us who suffer from dyslexia which by the way is an intellectual disability. These kinds of tools can become a lifeline and essential... I've written a book and I couldn't have done without the ghostwriter but to start with I needed the tools to get stuff to a stage it could actually be read and edited.... Now started using Microsoft copilot found that pretty incredible was well.... Again thank you for the video

Grammarly's plagiarism feature is of questionable value. I wrote some personal letters and Grammarly nailed me for plagiarizing half of what I wrote. LOL!

Hi, thanks for the video! It would be nice if you could also do a review of Wordvice AI! As I know, Wordvcie AI is launched in 2023, I wonder if there is any update between these three paraphrasing tools.

ProwritingAid is currently the only supported writing tool supported when using Atticus - they currently don't support Grammarly.

I have both, stole grammarly off my dad by logging onto his account so I don't have to buy both 😂😂

Aren't these 'tools' just making us lazy? Soon, nobody know how to think for themselves. We'll all be too scared to make mistakes, and we'll all start sounding the same. To truly grow, we should be using our brains more, much the same way that we keep fit with physical exercise. Knowledge is power. Learn to do it to the best within your ability, and if you make a mistake, learn to fix it.
