Bon Jovi | Superman Tonight | Pro Shot | Friedrichshafen 2010

A "live-to-track" performance done on the German TV show "Wetten Dass" in early 2010, meaning that Jon's vocals were live while the rest of the band mimed to a playback track. Still captured it in an analog way (well, it was Digital TV but an old receiver that had to be transferred with analog cable setups), so there's some weird noise in the upper frequencies. Besides that, the audio remaster brought out some more energy in the mix. Video remastered with both AI and manual techniques.

Love this song, but Jon's vocals are off. Surprised they're playing in standard tuning for once.

I thought this album was bollocks when they released it.
I thought the songs were getting worse, Jon was avoiding high notes and Richie's solos were getting cut shorter and shorter.
However, listening to this again now, with live vocals, it's fantastic compared to subsequent releases and the obvious decline of Jon's voice since.

I actually enjoyed this, and might give The Circle album another chance now!

Why does "live to track" still existed in 2010 ? It's very embarassing. I understand that in the early years of a 80-90s band, but from a now famous band it's quite strange.

Here is missing the soul of the song and that hurts me because this is one of my favourites
