Never stick stuff in a charging port while the phone is on btw.
You could kill it.
Same tips goes for bad speakers or mic, there usually just clogged up 🔊🎤😉

WTF, man i did expect that it will work, my mate 10 was not charging at all and i tried cleaning it with toothpick and it worked thank you so much man i saved time going to service center and money.

Thankfully you reminded me about the charging brick itself. I don't have another one so I plugged in my cable to my computer and I'm FINALLY getting a minimal charge from it so still some issues but at least in an hour or so I can turn it on and try to troubleshoot from there because otherwise, every time I turn it on, it immediately turns off again.

Did not work. Might be the cable or something else in the phone. Changed charger, tried computer, did toothbrush also on the cable, then toothpick, then scratched a bit with a needle. Nothing worked.

I bought a brand new HONOR X6a 128GB Mobile Phone - Cyan in the UK Jan 2024, it stopped charging on 25 April 2024 , after watching this video I used a toothbrush to clean the port, I tried a different usb cable and a different plug. The phone began to charge again but I will raise this with the shop where I bought because it's a sign I will start having problems hopefully the shop will replace the phone. I'm very please with the video, some very good tips.

Thanks so much man! My phone was not charging at all and now its supercharging, If anyone tried the toothbrush, i recomend to use the toothpick because that's what made mine work

Thank you for this video. Able to follow your advice on using wooden toothpick, and surprisingly, it worked !!! I split the tip of the toothpick and able to get a small ball of lint in it. Most probably gathered whenever I place my phone inside my pocket.. Splitting the tip of the toothpick enabled me to just insert and twist and pick up the dirt inside.. Thanks man for this advice

My huawei p20 turns on then after a slight tap to the back of the phone or after a while it turns off
