Oct, 2020 - A 3rd party tester in USA has shown that HX Outdoors knives don't always have the steel type that they claim.

The next choice, if you want to spend more $ is GearBest - they may also charge a shipping fee.
CAMO with TAN handle -- GearBest doesn't have it.

Amazon.COM for USA has the knife, but for over 35% more $

Thank-you for using my links, it helps fund my channel. IF you are watching a video that is more than ONE MONTH old please take the time to use a GearBest link on a new review video and then search for the knife you want after using that link BECAUSE GearBest only gives me credit when you use links that are less than 30 days old.

I do get credit for your entire purchase IF you open GearBest buy clicking on one of my referral links. THANKS. If you have any questions, please ASK.

HX Outdoors has been found out to not always use the steel they claim to use on their knives. Sorry I cannot change the review, but I hope people will see this comment.

Have you never seen spongebob? You obviously need a ferrell rod on a diving knife because you never know when you might need to start a campfire in the ocean.

A cool package, thx for showing. I just did hard testing of their large survival axe on my channel and it held up very well. It seems they offer good quality for the money.

I remember planning an upgrade on my dive knife until I watched it sink to the bottom of the ocean. I just re bought the stainless skeleton. Nice knife there.

Hey Jake! I have an idea! Why don't you stick a knife into some wood in the begining of the video the very moment you say "STICK AROUND!" It would be a badass pun!:)

You can dive with that, the rod does not get hurt in water

I wonder if that chisel grind is so you can place that part over a large strong rope (like climbing, boating, trucker tie-downs) and give the spine of the knife a good whack to make a clean cut consistently.

Good review; odd knife.

Maybe the chisel grind is so the “sharpener” lasts twice as long! 😬

Thanks Jake!

Why is it not a diving knive with the Firestarter if you can take it off anyways? You even say that in the video?

9:06 if you change the handle to naked or with a thicker paracord wrap the handle gets thicker or thinner overall and then it wouldn't fit anymore but with this it works

it seems to me, that, HX since the TD-01 has steadily gone from the utilitarian, understated look to how far out there can they go with their designs. if i did buy this knife, it would most definitely be the camo pattern. i would also get rid of the strap material of the sheath and replace with a Tec-Lokish type of system to carry it securely horizontally. thanks for sharing, Jake.

I lost a mini deceptacon ....

Real diver's knives have a blunt tip so you don't puncture your suit or R.I.B. This seems a little heavy, pricey and gimmicky.
