Ypres Rally 2019 - SS19: Zillebeke 2 + Masters SS12 - all cars in hairpin (stopped after fire Veiby)

The last stage of the Ypres Rally Masters, and the last stage before the last service of the Ypres Rally. The stage was stopped after only 9 cars when the Hyundai i20 R5 of Ole Christian Veiby catched fire.

Stage length: 14.37 km

Results:
1. Craig Breen (2) - Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 - completed in 7:54.8
2. Kevin Abbring (7) - Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 - +0.1
3. Kris Princen (1) - Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 - +3.6
4. Kevin Demaerschalk (9) - Citroën C3 R5 - +8.2
5. Freddy Loix (10) - Škoda Fabia R5 - +8.6
6. Vincent Verschueren (46) - Škoda Fabia R5 - +9.8
7. Davy Vanneste (12) - Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 - +11.0
8. Matt Edwards (3) - Ford Fiesta R5 - +15.1
9. Tom Cave (5) - Hyundai i20 R5 - +18.2
Everyone else got +20.0.
At the end of the video we see Alex Laffey (Ford Fiesta R5) and Darren Gass (Škoda Fabia R5) who were already started but had to stop to use their extinguisher for Veiby's car (which wasn't enough for the big fire). The other cars left the stage via an alternate route.
Rally leader after stage: Craig Breen, second and third are Abbring and Princen on +25.5 and +42.9.

That's it for the YRM this year. Hopefully next year there will be a second edition, and maybe with a little more competitors. :-)
