AirAsia X | Travel Voucher

As of 15 July 2022, more than 270,000 guests have received their travel vouchers to the full amount of their cancelled bookings and Unlimited Pass, worth more than US$92 million.

AAX will continue to prioritise processing all remaining compensation entitlements, including for bookings made by travel agents in the coming weeks. All guests will be contacted via their registered email address. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I am having the same issue as Pete Lee below. Having received my travel voucher, no matter what date I try and enter for travel I get the same response saying the limit of vouchers has been reached for the flight, despite many seats available. This is so frustrating as I cannot seem to get in contact with anyone to explain to me how to actually use the vouchers so that they work.

It's a lie, I have 3 vouchers and I've tried all of them selected flights from KUL to Bali, Hangzhou etc. When I key in the voucher it keeps pop-up with the message "voucher does not exist". Frustrated and disappointed with AirAsia's service and action.

I also having the same issues with Pete Lee and Adam Merrifield.. My travel voucher cannot be redeem on regular flight. it is stated that available routes ONLY FROM KUALA LUMPUR TO SEOUL, NEW DELHI, and upcoming routes TOKYO, SAPPORO etc... WHY AIRASIA FORCE US TO GO WHERE I DONT WANT TO GO SHAME ON YOU AIRAISA

My voucher will not allow me to pay for seats, meals and taxes - yet my original booking was for ALL these things. I just want to use the voucher for a complete booking. I paid in cash and every time I try and book you ask for MORE money - not allowing me to use my full voucher amount. Why???

Yes your comments are very heartfelt and appreciated. As per others, the downer to all this is that having been with your company since you opened in Australia in 2009, I am now flying with other airlines because the voucher you sent is useless. I and my friends have all had the same problem of trying for weeks to book only to be told the voucher is not valid or cancelled. None of your staff have helped for many weeks and just say it will be looked into. They even had the rudeness to try to have us believe that there is a limit of seats available when the seating clearly showed fully available on all attempts and on many different dates and routes. Why is the solution such as cancelling and reissuing so we get usable vouchers so difficult as it is clear these do not work. Or better still have a staff member call me and make the booking direct to give some customer service that would entice me to stay and support your airline. As usual I am sure this will get referred to AVA or not answered at all. Thanks

Air Asia we want to redeem vouchers for the same place we booked earlier. As a company a it is your job to give proper customer service, you have to give clear guidelines on redemption of vouchers. Also the same message is occuring as I try to book tickets it says change the time or date or seats not available.we have invested our lakhs and lakhs rupees for tickets and back then who was knowing that covid will hit the world. Air Asia has to give refund, provide proper contact details like whom we can contact if we have any query. Air Asia is such a airlines which provide cheaper rates but I would say Air Asia itself is a cheap and disgusting, Fraud Airlines. I want my refund

It all sounds fantastic Mr.Top Dog but after waiting for over 3 years and trying at least 20 times to book new flights nothing has happened!!! I have been a loyalty member for at least 10 years and used this Airline so many times that I can't remember...but I am seriously considering stopping using them !!!
It would really help also if you could talk to another human and not a bloody digital robot or what ever it is...

I have received a travel voucher, when I want to use it, travel vouher payment was blocked. And I have been go to air asia counter to find out more about this information and the staff said that my travel voucher was not valid. why this information is so different. I have sent an email and they give an guide the usage process which is very inappropriate when it is in the payment column. in the guide it is very easy to make payment transactions with travel vouchers, but in fact the payment in the travel voucher column is blocked. please further information

i dont know how to explain my problem, my country use the code AK and don't have flight code D7 to operate in our country. so how can i used that... it so stuck for this .and if i try to use flight which have code D7 .the message popup show ( limited voucher ) . how can you do like this .

I jumped through all the hoops to get the voucher and when I try to use it on the eligible flight it says “please login with the member ID which this voucher was issued to”, been waiting 3 1/2 weeks for my case to be looked into. Please help
