It feels impossible at first, but I did an experiment. I’m a runway queen who’s not uniquely good at the game or anything. I played 10 times back to back. I won twice and I was in the finals 3 times.

I think we just perceive it as being impossible since rounds take longer, but I don’t think it’s any harder than placing in a game. And I think the voting is fairer overall since you’re penalized for not voting. (Still teaming and alts obv but that happens in normal games too).

for me I have won around 80% of all my style showdown games and I just dress good, compliment people if I genuinely like their fits, say bye and also in the finals I just say "I had fun, vote for whoever deserves it!" I might just be lucky but I'd say being very encouraging definitely helps

4:07 - I believe they fixed it (at least they should, if they devs were doing their job). Cause when I played syle showdown a couple days after it dropped, there were many people not staying to spectate. But I still stand by my opinion of scrapping the concept of having eliminated players vote for the player they think deserves a win. It just isn't fair for the first place winner...and maybe if first place already owns the prizes, the prize is given to second place. ♡✧
