Hope everyone's doing well. What a time we're all facing right now, a season.. But just like every season, this too shall pass. As the world is going on lockdown due to the Covid19 pandemic, everyone is encouraged to stay home and indoors. Our "normal" lives have been put on hold for now and for me, that means no stage and live performances, shows, events, travels, etc.. It has indeed been a struggle, but we just gotta hold on and keep the faith. If you just really think about it, there's still so much to be thankful for, even during this very challenging time.

One of which, aren't we lucky we have the internet! While here in the Philippines we are under 'community quarantine', I have been trying my best to still be productive and yes.. Finally, we got to work on some music content for you guys!
As some of you may know, I've been livestreaming almost regularly on the KUMU app lately with random jam sessions.. And this particular song, I should say, has been the MOST REQUESTED.
I first came across this korean classic as a suggestion by JinHo Bae for me to perform at the 2018 Asia Song Festival held in Busan, South Korea.. I then had this "lightbulb moment" to try to translate it to english, to which I ended up performing and received recognition.

For this new cover, my friends in the industry have been so sweet to offer their help to make this version so much more special! We had this transcribed in ENGLISH, HANGUL/KOREAN, and TAGALOG/FILIPINO so you guys can sing along. ♡

There are many great Artists around the World with amazing Voices, but since I heard Morissette for the first time with her magical voice, I felt liked catched into a dream. I was born and raised in Korea as Korean listening this song all the time.
I believed no one could beat original singer. But my thoughts just have been changed now.
Thanks to my all Philippines friends, I knew this amazing singer and fell in love.
Although singing in three different language is pretty hard, she did really well. Actually it is beyond description. I just understood why lots of people call her as Asian’s Phoenix!!!😘

This song was written and sung by Lee Young Heon after her break-up and I thought this sort of of Korean ballad won't cross to other countries. Hands down to your interpretation of this beautiful song!

I feel like things happen for a reason. Morissette was sharing on her KUMU live, all the projects that are being rearranged and put on hold due to this Global Pandemic we're all in. Life is what happens when you're making other plans, they say! Something painfully beautiful has come out of it, that might not have happened otherwise. This "Resignation" has shades of the original cover, but completely reimagined! I love the visual here. The crumpled paper with the lyrics scrolling on it like a break up letter! The letter where you start out in control of your feelings, (English), hurt harder the more you write (Tagalog), wrestle with control (back to English), explode from the frustration (Korean), and finally the last words (acceptance). GEEZ it's so real! I'm bout to fight this character in the song doing her wrong (am I the only one)!
Morissette you have, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful voices on Earth. The kind the World has to hear! This was ART! Everyone who worked on this and heard the fans THANK YOU! This HAS to somehow make it to streaming services!!
If we're going to be Quarentined, it might as well be with this on a loop!
