*An important tip to all who are preparing for the exam.*
I had my PTE exam today and it was my first attempt. I couldn't complete the last task 'Write from Dictation' because of poor time management and I thought of sharing the mistake I have made. After completing the first task which was summarize spoken text, I didn't take seriously the time shown on the top right portion of the screen and I took more time for tasks like 'Multiple choice single answer' and 'Multiple choice multiple answer' and this ate down my time. By the time when 'Write from Dictation' task began, I had only 2 minutes left.
*'Write from Dictation' is a task which contributes more marks.*
*Please be aware of the time management for all the four sections.*

I would highly advise everyone who wants to better their listening to close your eyes whilst listening. You then visualise the sentence in your mind.

Hi Jay, God bless you guys. I scored a flawless 90-90-90-90 on my first attempt yesterday! Very happy :) Your webinars and tips really helped me crack it. I had previously given IELTS and had scored an overall 8 however, my writing score was 6.5, with your help I'm glad I cracked PTE on my first go!

Hi Jay and whole team of E2 PTE Academic, i can't thank you enough for what you're doing for whole community. I am working professional and usually don't find much time to study, hence i watched all of your videos on PTE Academic. Initially i thought them to be too long and time consuming, but every second spent on them is worth it. I owe my success in exam to you and your whole team. I got overall 89 score, which is far beyond my imagination, and i got 90 in three sections. I'll surely make a contribution shortly towards E2 Language. God bless you and keep on doing the good work.

Jay ! I cannot thank you enough for taking time in making these videos. I gave me PTE academic yesterday and am more than elated to share that I received an overall score of 87 (S 90, L 84, W85, R 87) just by following all your tips . Your time management blog helped a lot for listening. I had 7 minutes left when I finished listening and was worried that I shouldnt have rushed and took some more time. But my score proved It wrong. I made sure that I don't miss the dictation part so carefully planned all the earlier tasks which gave me enough time for dictation.
Wouldn't have been possible without you. Will be making my contribution to your channel very soon. Keep up the good work 👍.

Need your help on the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: If I form a sentence not exactly like the original but with the same words, what will be the score?
Eg: Original Sentence: Issues must be first addressed. My answer: Issues must be addressed first.

Scenario 2: If I write an additional word in a sentence than the original audio, what will be the score?
Eg: Original: I need to buy chocolates. My answer: I need to buy some chocolates.

Please explain on how these scenarios will be scored and how the score will be affected.

"Before you move to Sydney, you may need to arrange temporary accommodation." - 30:10

Will marks be deducted should I add a comma between "Sydney" and "you"?
