4K UHD | Uncharted 4 – PS4 vs. PS4 Pro 4K Mode Graphics Comparison

Can the graphics of Uncharted 4 even be topped? Yes and no. Find out in our graphics comparison of Uncharted 4 on PS4 and PS4 Pro 4K mode. Basically, the PS4 Pro version benefits from a 1440p upgrade in resolution in singleplayer, and 1080p in multiplayer. The base PS4 was at 1080p in singleplayer and 900p in multiplayer. Apart from the resolution, there are no further improvements, but remember: the game was already highly optimized for PS4 with best possible graphics.

Die PS4 Pro-Version von Uncharted 4 profitiert von einer höheren Auflösung, sie läuft mit 1440p im Einzelspieler-Modus, im Mehrspieler-Modus läuft sie mit 1080p. Die Standard-PS4 lief hier mit 1080p im Einzelspieler- und 900p im Mehrspieler-Modus. Abgesehen von der erhöhten Auflösung gibt es keine optischen oder grafischen Verbesserungen bei Uncharted 4 – wir dürfen aber nicht vergessen, dass das Spiel bereits bestmöglich für die PS4 optimiert wurde und die grafisch hier voll auf Anschlag läuft.

Auch bei der Performance gibt es zur Standard-PS4 keine nennenswerten Unterschiede, im Einzelspieler-Modus bleibt die Bildrate stabil bei 30 Frames, Einbrüche sind die Ausnahme und treffen beide Konsolen in ähnlichen Szenen.

Uncharted 4 sieht bereits auf der PS4 hervorragend aus. Über die erhöhte Auflösung der PS4 Pro dürfen sich vor allem Besitzer von 4K Fernsehern freuen.

i played the game last year on the "normal" ps4 and on a 48inch first gen 4K tv and last week a played the game again on the Pro and on a 55 inch Samsung 8000 HDR 4K tv and the game looks stunning!

For those saying no difference, there are some lighting and texture upgrades, even if it’s not huge. It’s not supposed to be a big upgrade anyways though.

Not a major difference. PS4 renders at native 1080p, while the Pro renders at native 1440p. While not a massive upgrade, the Pro does provide a slightly cleaner, sharper image.

But in uncharted you can really see the difference. I dont want to be an asshole guys dont take me wrong.

The reason of seeing no difference in god of war is that the game is very detailed and has high resolution in generally. The ps4 pro is worth it.

What scam is this!? PS4 Pro is an entire $150 more than PS4 Slim here in India. And add to that you get 3 games and 3 months of PS Plus bundled with the Slim whereas you get nothing with the Pro. Fuck this shit. Im getting the Slim.

It looks exactly the same. I have a PS4 pro and my cousin has a normal PS4, they both look identical. The trick is HDR, that's what really makes a significant difference, if you have a TV with HDR a normal PS4 will be just fine. I actually regret not getting a PS4 slim.
