How To Create Write On Painting Effect Using Brush Tool:
1. Open Composition
2. Add New Solid Layer (Cmd/Ctrl + Y)
3. Double-click Solid Layer to open as a layer
4. Open the Paint Panel (Window…Paint)
5. Opacity…100%
6. Flow…100%
7. Click on the Brush icon and change to Hard Brush (13 pts)
8. Click on the color swatch and pick a color
9. For Mode…Normal
10. Channels…RGBA
11. Duration…Write On
12. Move Playhead to the beginning
13. Tap Spacebar to Preview
14. Tap ‘U’ to reveal keyframes to adjust speed
15. Go to ‘Effect Controls’ to remove background and paint on transparency (optional)
