Although this is a more serious take on a song by TD, the enunciation of the “witchoo” keeps the comedic element present. Genius!

In this song, he has a kind of weathered storytelling voice. Slightly reminiscent of Johnny Cash singing Hurt. I think that comes from his being an actor. He puts some city miles on the song as if he's lived a lot of life. Great version.

Tenacious D & Jack Black deserve a Grammy, an Oscar and a Nobel in Music if they exist (if they don't then they need to be established). What needs to be added. Unless I recommend you their other songs, Kickapoo, Tribute, Classico, etc.
