The Slowest Racer of ALL TIME

No talent, no control, and no hope.
With some of the most ridiculous and bizarre records in history, and with a grand total of 0 overtakes in his entire F1 career, this racer was so slow and so incredibly awful that even he called himself the worst F1 driver EVER.
Of course, this is the story of Taki Inoue, the slowest F1 driver of all time.

Should be given credit for his self-mocking humour, and for his business skills: if he could sell himself as a driver despite all the lack of talent he clearly had up to the point of driving in Formula 1 for an entire Season, he could have sold everything else.

2 gear box failure that where probably from miss shifting and staying in the wrong gear for to long. Pilot failure.
2 engine blowout, probably from staying in lower gear to much. Pilot failure.

Tbh I still have a lot of respect for Inoue, and kinda feel bad for him. He's a fairly nice guy.

At least he wasn't a danger to anyone but himself, unlike Grosjean who spent his entire F1 career trying to kill people.

Honestly, can't fault him for using his negotiating skills and money to chase the dream.
But for all the negotiating prowess, he managed to land with some of the worst teams in F1 History at their lowest points.
For as bad as he was driving, that 1995 season was just cursed.

And at least he freely acknowledges he wasn't very good, and has a sense of humor about it.
Still, he was never wasting a seat in a good car, and he never had to have his dad buy the team to retain his seat.
