It's true that Shadow Salem wasn't immortal. Salem has a bigger than IQ than Shadow because you don't see him planning things as big and as much as Salem did in the entire show. Although I wonder, how many times can Shadow "kill" Salem before he gets too exhausted to continue fighting? I can see Salem holding her own well enough against Shadow before she "dies" and comes back but how many times is the question.

Also it would've better to see Shadow vs Cinder. Shadow is my favorite Sonic character and Cinder is an antagonist that I hate, not an antagonist you'd love to hate....per say, it's kinda complicated. I hate Cinder because of what she's done throughout the show, mostly killing Pyrrha, but also for her sadism, manipulation to people, her role at the end of Volume 8, etc. I'm sorry for her suffering as a kid but I wonder if she wants power so she can longer suffer the way she did. I loved how she was fucked over thrice (Volume 3, Volume 5, Volume 7, and a little bit in Volume 8 when Penny beat the shit outta her and Watts roasting her), in fact I have these fantasies where she's kind of a punching bag in these fight scenarios. I fantasize my fictional character incarnations that I wrote myself interacting with her and a couple of them are temporary team ups like Star Wars: The Last Jedi or teaming up to fight Sephiroth from Final Fantasy.

Note: Pay attention to the quotation marks when I say Kill and Die. I don't mean "die" die, I'm talking about how many times will she face a blow that would kill her if she wasn't immortal.

It depends on which shadow you're talking about really, I love shadow but Salem is no joke. Archie shadow easily wins, because Archie. If we're talking about Base Shadow without any additional tools I'd say Salem can beat the Shadow from the main line games. If we're talking about main line shadow with a full arsenal, it depends on what you call a win. Cause super shadow could easily turn Salem into dust, Super Shadow is invincible while Salem still suffers physical damage, if you count incapacitation, Shadow wins. But Salem can regenerate from pretty much nothing so if the goal is to kill the other, then Salem could just tough it out till Shadow loses his super state and just kill him. I know there's other versions of Shadow, just the version from the mainline games is what I'm most familiar with
