Okay... no. This sounds like a way to torture someone in a horror flick, rather than a challenge on a game show. This is way to far. This isn't a Fear Factor, no. I don't think anyone goes, "Yeah, I'm afraid of spiders, being buried alive... Oh, and having ten needles of varying thickness pierced through my arm. That's my worst fear." No. That's a horror movie script. Being able to back out or not, Fear Factor took it a bit far this time.

Interesting fact.  In an interview for the contestant that was crying the hardest, it was revealed that she was faking/overreacting, and purposely doing so to try and psyche out the other contestants.

I remember this episode as a kid. I'm impressed and feel sorry for the girl that was crying in pain with the needle. I feel sorry that it was hurting her so bad, but at the same time, she made it through the challenge and ended up winning the episode. How ironic that the crying chick was enduring this "challenge", but she ended up being the episode's winner. But alas, I find this stunt incredibly graphic and disturbing.
