Reading your defender is because key. Once you figure out the controls. It’s all about reading that defender’s feet. You can use the basic read pick and roll from real life. That’s why it’s important to go slow and then use pace to change it up on the defender.

The first thing read is if you can reject a screen.
Second read is if the defender is going under or over or switching each one has different reaction. You can do this is real life too not just 2k
