What exactly happened to Bihar?

History tells us that Bihar once was a prosperous region. The city of Patna was the capital of powerful Magadha Kingdom. Bihar gave India many great men including Gautam Buddha, Mahavir Jain, our first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad and many more
Nalanda - once the world's education center was also in Bihar.

But over a period of time things changed and the dark world of politics, poverty and crime took control of Bihar. Bihar now is on its way to become the second most populous state by 2041, with currently its population being equal to 180 countries.
The video specifically covers how lack of education, good administration stopped Bihar from becoming a prosperous state.

Finally the video covers some solutions that can change Bihar into the Bihar of which we have been proud of. Because solving Bihar's problems is as important as solving India's problems!

Being a bihari who's born and brought up outside of Bihar, I've been living in Bihar since last 4 years now. And I can definitely say that people of Bihar themselves are the major reason behind our economy screwing up.

1. Youth spend their precious age by preparing for so "government exams" just because that'll give them "power". They use this power to harass other people, may it be their relative or their neighbours. One who's in the power status is "unstoppable" and can do whatever they desire.
2. One who are diligent enough to work for their society aren't let to do so by other goons and their own society / family members.
3. People here are madly fighting with each other for land. There's no proper system for conflict resolution. Even if they fight amongst each other for land disputes, local panchayat or even block office doesn't intervene but rather issue is sent to local police who drops the matter by "under the table" methods. Hence, the root of dispute stays and so is future chances of conflicts.
4. Infra development here is shit. Eg. Authorities develop roads and they do it without any drainage systems. Hence when new roads are made, water flows into the houses near the roads and later people level-up their compound's height by putting extra soil. In turn water inflow going towards the roads once again. Hence, this is a never ending vicious circle. And NO one cares, even if you raise this issue.
5. Liquor is banned here in Bihar. Not for wellbeing for Bihari people but for the pockets of politicians. You can still get liquors of any brands you want, anytime you want. Its just the whole supply chain by the help of politicians only. Government loses out of liquor tax, while money is diverted into corrupt politicians' pocket.

In short, a place is represented by the people residing there. AND people in bihar themselves are fu**ed up.

Bro I am also from Bihar. Once my sis met a girl on train(also from Bihar), she told my sis that she cleared BPSC, her interview went well but she didn't qualify. Somehow later she got to know that you have to pay some under the table fees to interviewers around 15-25 lakhs😢. I was surprised to see that such things are happening in these highly respected exams.

My uncle told me the story of a School
The fund was coming from head office for the development of schools but the teachers used to divide it share among everyone and made their homes, bought vehicles and when asked something about the development they used to show the bills of transaction and things that never really happened.
And lastly the MLA of my legislature is very very very corrupt like any other politician, everyone knows that he has done a bare minimum corruption of 50-60 crores but still no one is going to take action.
Police is ready to arrest the man who has small little crimes and theft, which ofc they should. But they don't work on these big scandals. Rather so much intelligent civil servants and officers who were supposed to be serving the people are working with these m0th*rf*ckers.😡🤬🤬.
And the media, m0th*rf*cking media, never points out the mistakes, never tells the solution, praise some useless leaders on their baseless statements.
I am really angry on the politics of Bihar. It has destroyed my state.

Biggest problem with Bihar is that we Biharis do lack in sub-nationalism. We have lost our mother toungue our language when Hindi was imposed on us.
States like Gujarat, Punjab, Maharashtra, Bengal, etc have their own language, culture, etc people have strong sub-nationalism towards their state. No matter PM Modi is a good PM but still he is more inclined towards his state Gujarat. But Biharis lack in that terms.
When Jharkhand was carved out of Bihar (50% land of Bihar was given) though in North Jharkhand Adivasis population is very less but still these all areas was given to Jharkhand. It was just a slap on the people of Bihar removing the resourcefull area from one state and give it to another state.
I hope in coming years youth people of Bihar will unite and will work for the betterment of their state.

But i am from bihar recently i went back my hometown and it made me so sad to see that youth of rural areas has no idea about the latest trends which are changing the world. I am a 23 year old guy and i meet some youngsters lying between age of 20 - 30 and it's so bad to see that they have so much lack of knowledge and resources.
