Manchester United preparing move for Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven

As an ajax fan and obviously watching the dutch league closely i can say that he is a good player. The only thing is that he is not that consistent. He has never played on a high European level so has not proven himself yet. Haven’t played big games really… premier league is a different monster. I think erik really experienced that the first game of the PL. you can prepare for It all you want but really get to know it when you experience it for the first time. dutch league can’t be compared with PL. PL should be compared with big European games. The level of play. Speed and physicality. which Gakpo has never played. BIG RISK in my eyes

Does Ten hag know that there's other players outside of the Eredivisie, Gakpo could be an excellent signing but only signing Dutch players is a very high risk strategy as they have a very high fail rate in the EPL.

Honestly I don’t think United should sign gakpo.Yes he is a good player but he is also right footed, When ten Haag tried to get players like Antony or dybala it’s cuz they are left footed and can play on the right wing .Something Man U currently don’t have, United need left footed winger not a right cuz you have rashford, sancho and even elanga or Garnacho for that

Everyone here in Eindhoven would hate seeing him go but we know this is the time. He is ready. Stands out above every other player in the eredivisie, even Anthony. He plays direct, smart, is driven, fast, has a hell of a long range shot and seems to have a modest down-to-earth character. As a comparison; Memphis was great when he left and might have been further in his development, but he didnt have the brain Cody has. I believe he will adapt to the Prem quite quickly, but lets see.
