I did the same... Staying at the Comfort Inn is definitely the way to visit rather than staying at the Atlantis.. Can't believe how few people are there. That place is packed in the summer. Yes because it is Hurricane season is the reason it is not crowded plus it is the best time to visit for the lowest price.
