How to RETURN your old UK Student BRP Card to Home Office | Easy process | 2024

Returning the old UK BRP card is a crucial step after switching your visa from student to Post Study Work/Graduate Route, and receiving the new BRP. Once you receive your new BRP following your PSW application, you will receive a mail asking you to cut your BRP in half and return it to home office via post (the address to return will be mentioned in the email).

If you fail to return the old BRP, you will be fined a sum of £1000. This video explains the step-by-step process of cutting and returning your BRP to the home office.

NOTE: I made a mistake in the video. While posting the BRP it is always best to opt for tracked postage. This will allow you to track your post and ensure that the BRP has reached the right address.

Ive returned to India and my BRP has expired on the 19th of July. Do I need to follow the same instructions of postage from here??

You should delete and reupload the new video to make the track postage correction. Because of you, i made this mistake by sending it without track postage thought this is how might be by watching you did the same.

This is so wrong that instead you only commented that, you made this mistake.

I can't believe how so many people might be affected because of your this misleading video. Because not everyones read comments, you are well aware how life is rushed up here people just cant focus on everything. You need to delete and upload new otherwise you are victimising more people.

For GOD sake act responsible online and just for views now the video is still here. Such a shame!!!
