The cold ones, or as I like to call them, ice men, are one of the most mysterious creatures in worldbox, that's why in this video we will break down their origins and mysteries through a theory, I also wanted to let you know that this will be part of a series where I'll talk about worldbox lore, let's get started:
The cold ones are nothing more than humanoid creatures, apparently civilized and intelligent, which are characterized by being cold as their name indicates, not made of ice, but their body is adapted to live in low temperatures, which makes it weak. to fire and in addition to this it is capable of expanding that cold.
Regarding its origin, this is quite interesting, as it turns out that the cold ones, as their description says, are ancient creatures, this indicates that the cold ones are one of the first creatures that existed in the worldbox universe, in fact, the cold ones Cold ones would exist from the first worldbox era, the era of despair, because according to what is theorized, the worldbox eras are organizing from the present to the oldest.
At the beginning, the worldbox was a large freezer where no life was born, something similar to the earth in its prehistoric years.
In this environment it would be where the first cold and snowmen would emerge, from the ice and the disturbing snow, building their civilizations and their well-known winter towers.
However, with the passing of the years, the earth warmed up more and more, forcing the cold ones to adapt, just like snowmen, this would lead to two new species:
Primordial humans by cold, and monkeys derived from snowmen.
It is known that not all cold and snowmen evolved, that's why we can still find them in worldbox.
As for primordial humans, I mean a type of human different from the modern one that we can currently see in the worldbox, from this and after several crosses and adaptation to the environment, the other intelligent races would originate.
This origin is based on the fact that when the units reach the age of despair, they become cold, since being exposed to it for so long makes them return to their original form.
This also explains why the cold ones hate everything alive so much, and the worldbox races, since they see them as inferior beings that once were like them, the more they changed, thus losing all respect.
