There is a question that has sealed the deal for hundreds when interviewing for a job. Everyday, viewers and clients email me and say they asked this question, and they were offered the position HOURS later! In this video I’ll let you know what the question is, why it’s oh-so valuable, and the one or two times you shouldn’t use it!

I couldn’t wait for the day I could come back and comment! I asked the hard question on both interview 1 & interview 2!

My interview process for this high stakes investment banker role was 54 days (7 weeks and 5 days).

I was offered the position 2/17 and was officially hired today after clearing my background/credit check!

I did all of your steps and am proud that the hard question and putting my key points on sticky notes on my ring light via the mobile interview was of great help.

I binge watched Cass noted all her tips. I had a very hard interview in a supervisory position. I asked the “hesitancy for hiring me” question verbatim. And they all quickly said “No hesitancy.” I don’t know if I got the job yet. But at least I know that it doesn’t mean I wasn’t qualified. But if I don’t get it, it just means someone was more qualified and that’s ok. All else the question is worth it because it gives you immediate feedback. I will update if I got the job or not!

I interviewed for a position on Thursday that is a total career shift, but also a promotion within my current company. I felt good through the interview but I could feel myself being nervous. So I decided at the end, to be BOLD and ask this question and they LOVED it. The boss was like "man that's gutsy!" And based on their answer, I got a major confidence boost! We finished out the interview and I was offered the job a few hours later! I'm so excited and nervous and slightly scared for this new chapter! Me and my partner have been in a long distance relationship for nearly a year and missing each other through Covid. He came down to where I live for a job interview yesterday, and today he was offered the job, because I told him about your 'hard' question! he asked, and they offered him the position the next day! I got the job! After nearly 10 years at the same company, when the recruiter called I was freaking out, because I was so out of practice with interviewing! Your channel was an enormous help. I aced a panel interview and got an amazing offer the next day!

My biggest winner, besides having smart questions to ask, was to prepare a portfolio. My industry doesn't normally do visual aids like that, but I put together a little book of sample work that I've done at my current job, one copy for each interviewer. I sent them to Staples and had them bound; it cost about $17 per book, but it was totally worth it. Then, when I needed a story about how I solved x problem, or what my strengths are, I could tell the story and SHOW the end result at the same time. I heard through the grapevine that it was my portfolio that really showed how serious I was about the job. Thank you for all your excellent advice!

I got the job within 2 hours after my second interview... this question was a great way to end my interview... thank you for making these videos they have helped me in a very scary time where I only had two weeks to find a job. Not only did I find a job I bound a great one :)

Just coming here to say thank you for what you do! I got the job! I interviewed Monday & i asked the "based off this interview, do you have any hesitancy in hiring me for this position?" question at the end, They literally said 'no one has ever asked us that before' & then they didn't answer me, lol. but Its now Friday & they pulled me in the office & offered me the position! Hi everyone, this question REALLY WORKS! I accidentally watched this video the morning of my interview and I heard Cassandra say we should ask if. So last Friday during my interview for a consultant position, I asked it at the end of the interview and on Wednesday I got offered the job but they converted it from consultant to a headcount position!!! When I asked this question, the hiring manager said I answered all questions very well and that he had no other questions as he was pleased with my answers and that he thought I did a great job. Lastly, this interview was a panel interview and they were going to make a quick decision. This question is the best thing I’ve learnt for interviews so please USE IT! THANKS CASSANDRA!

So, I had my first couple of "real" interviews for jobs in a long time. There was one job I really wanted. My would be direct supervisor is sales manager, and I said, "hey, I am going to try and use a close on you!" He said, "Oh really?!" I said, "Is there anything that would make you hesitant about bringing me on board here?" He said, "THAT is a really good question!" Called me 24 hours later and told me I had the job! I used this hard question in my interview last week and the hiring manager smiled and looked at my resume and told me I meet the qualifications for the job. As we were heading out the door, she asked if I wanted a tour of the office. I am now waiting to see if I get a call this week. I’m so glad I asked this question because she confirmed that I am a strong candidate.

He explained I was a great candidate but I lacked experience. I fought for the position and assured him that my skills are transferable and he was stuck at first.
