This is such an important video, I will be bookmarking it and watching it many times. Ah and thank you from the bottom of my heart for NOT pronouncing things that we are not supposed to pronounce. Every single resource I have ever watched on YouTube or even listen on audiobooks always say "and never ever say..." and then they go and say it, it drives me so mad! Why plant that seed 😡 You are a true teacher Dylane and I love your teaching ways, bless you 👍🏻

You are the reason why I still learn French, even being so far away from home, and family. And it's beginning to show. I can talk with my relatives more comfortably than before. Je vous apprécie beaucoup.

I have a friend learning French---shared your channel with him. This is great for beginning students. I love your explanations, as I am refreshing my French after several decades. I remember much, but usage has changed so much! So many new technology words!

Excellent lesson. Dylane has a way of explaining things in a clear, understandable way. And the examples are perfect.

Hello teacher! Great lesson! Why did'nt you make the mandatory liaision between VOUS and APPRIS when you said the sentence: Comment avez-vous appris ça ? Thanks in advance!

I’m rewatching this video months later and the funny part is…. After studying French for years and listening to French for years and speaking French….this really becomes natural when to make the liaison and when not to…I’m not a native French speaker but I’m at an advanced enough level to where if I heard someone make these liaisons….it would sound so weird….it doesn’t sound natural at all. I’m not fluent by any means but even I wouldn’t make these liaisons because it just simply doesn’t sound right or natural. You know what I mean?

5:27 I didn't quite get what you said there under your breath. Did you said "it's optional to say est arrivé" ?

So for h beginning a word, you don’t pronounce the h whether it is aspireé or mué? But it functions as a consonne when it’s aspiré, and as a voyelle when mué for other purposes?
