007: Legends - E3 2012: Story Interview

Five classic Bond movies are coming together to create one unforgettable story.

I think it's safe to say that the final film to be revealed will be either 'Dr. No' or 'Thunderball', and here's why. The official website has a caption saying 'six films, eight villains'. Six of these villains have already been revealed: Jaws, Hugo Drax, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, Franz Sanchez, Zao, and Gustav Graves. Since we know from this interview that one of the six will be the DLC mission, 'Skyfall', we therefore know a seventh villain: Raoul Silva.

This therefore means that the last film to be revealed will only feature one major villain. 'Goldfinger' would have to feature both Goldfinger and Oddjob, so we can rule it out, whereas 'You Only Live Twice' can be ruled out because we already know that Blofeld is in the game and so he wouldn't count as another villain, and YOLT doesn't feature any other particularly recognisable villains. 'Diamonds are Forever' can probably be ruled out full-stop.

Since the mission will undoubtedly be based on a Connery film, this therefore leaves 'Dr. No' and 'Thunderball', which could both easily get away with only featuring their respective main villains. 'Dr. No' seems the most likely to me, since the game is supposed to be celebrating the franchise's anniversary (i.e. since the release of DN) and so it would be pretty much criminal not to feature DN.

This film is coming out in 4 months and we got NO real gameplay except for 1 trailer! Hitman Absolution is coming in November and even they put a gameplay mission way back in January! WE WANR GAMEPLAY!!!

Well, you can argue that in the past this "extra content" would never have been there in the first place. But I get what you're saying. I have very low expectations for this game anyway.

graphics look really bad. Heard it plays like cod a bit too much. Even ign who got to play it said it was just another shooter and the jaws boss fight was just quick time events.

ill tell you wat they need to do make another game like bloodstone but improve it as this just seems like a quick cash in.

Um no that'll never happen. Most countries on the planet don't have fast enough internet connections and I'm sure Sony and Microsoft know that. It'll take me a week to download a game. People who believe those rumors just need to stop and think for a second.
