Hi Madelaine, I'm walking with the Hermit this year and it is really challenging me to really take a look at what I value. I have been in my she-cave for a couple of years till the top of this year rebooting my spiritual practice using tarot and oracle so much more, and was a bit confused about what I was to do with The Hermit as I'm so ready to be in the world again. But what it is asking of me is to really assess where I spend my time, with who and what I'm doing. Its encouraged a new mindfulness. I've also been decluttering my home, and focusing on the Hermit has helped me release a lot of stuff, which in the past I've had an irrational attachment too. Thanks for sharing 🙂

With the chariot I feel full steam ahead, I also feel so much more balanced in regards to my emotions. It’s like things are happening but I don’t seem to get lost in my emotions like u said I look at the road around the obstacle

2021 is my Chariot year so I'm spending time today (NYE) thinking about what this means for me. This was very helpful, especially the spinning analogies!

Thank you... this was so helpful. 2024 is my Chariot year and making sureI have enough gas and stop if I need were things I never associated with the Chariot. My Hermit year made a lot of sense, the Lovers? Not so much until I thought about choices I HAD to make this year and being able to care for myself.

Contemporary Tarot is always my first step for insight. 2019 was The World for me and 2020 Death; in both cases many, many things I always thought would be in my life came to an end - abruptly or otherwise. I love the keyword of 'navigation', particularly adapting spiritually from struggling against the changes to acceptance.
The World meant a time of conclusion - not always pleasant, folks. Sadly denying in some instances presented the Death year brought the same challenges decisively! With no choices, time to concede and grieve. What will be will be. The sunrise in Death's background does eventually come. making it more bearable and also hopeful, for next year is Temperance (always an angel to me). Peace and healing after turbulence.
I feel that sometimes The World card often can have the same effect as Death, and not the winning lotto ticket many like to believe.

It is interesting that this is New Year's Day, 2021 as I write this second comment about my recurrent Chariot card daily pulls. This made me understand so much more. The body as the car-- how one should fuel it appropriately (I was just diagnosed with hypoglycemia) and I have a difficult, nearly impossible time eating anything when I'm stressed out...which is a lot, right now. And I'm focusing too sharply on every obstacle. Anyway, the card for 2021 for me this year is Justice.
