Ryo, the vocalist, seems to have high proficiency in English (actually I’ve heard Ryo had lived in the states or somewhere, not really sure tho, but most likely true judging from his pronunciation/lyrics), which I truly believe can spur their worldwide popularity.

I love that they make songs in English but with such a heavy Japanese cultural influence. You can hear the accent in Ryo's voice and the classic video-game style leads. Then you have that huge, crushing sound. It's an amazing amalgamation of cultures. Crystal Lake is guaranteed SLAPPERS.

The first time I heard this song, it took me back to being 12 and seeing the aftermath of my mothers tries at suicide. It brings back so many of those dark feelings I felt, and its helping me come to terms with it, 16 years later. My mother is still alive today, but it feels like a part of her died all those years ago. Thank you for this beautiful song.
