Totally agreed with the point which you mentioned sir, the Direct entries should be capable of clearing the NDA/CDS syllabus. Recently I gave by TGC ssb at 24 SSB, banglore, to my suprise I was asked basic questions of 11th and 12th like Bernoulli theorem, Newton's law etc.

After listining to this my net of confusions is cleared. And only one path is infront of me on which i found my self to be moving now, probably i feel, not only me but all who are directly or indirectly moving in this path they will be selected. Thank you so much sir to confirm me that I'm heading muself in a right way.

An effective personality can't be build up in days, week or months.
It takes a person's whole life to define that one is which type of person. So first of all, dear aspirants forget that you'll take couching classes or anything else to create a personality of an officer.
That will not work at any means.
If one wanna see oneself as an officer then they( he or she) should have some qualities.
And Leadership is the most important quality of them.
One should know what is the sense of leadership.
I read somewhere that,
If you have 100 lions and their leader is a dog then all the lions will fight like a dog.
But if you have 100 dogs and their leader is a lion then everyone will fight like lion.

And according to me..
Leadership is not about being the best, leadership is about making everyone else better.
And don't always focus on work hard, Sometimes it is better to work smart than wasting time.
'Be honest to yourself' is the line that everyone must adopt in their life.
Don't be sad at any situation of your life becausee I felt that everything is happening for a good reason.
Keep smiling....

Sir, with all due respect, i partially agree with you.As you are saying that selection percentage in the Ima cds and nda batches is good, but here it is not the case.Recently in bhopal there were 5 continuous batches washout for ima-151.in the 6th batch just 1 recommendation. The fact is that these boards don't want to select candidates.so no matter in which entry a candidate is going.

This is unfair. The NCC entry must be given better chances, since they clear two exams(syllabus-general awareness, drill test, weapons test, service training test, both written and practical) to receive their B and C certificates. The C certificate examination is as difficult as the CDS, if not tougher.

Except other technical entries...I believe NCC spl entry should be considered like other entries, even more than that and the selection rate should ne increased....I don't know how can someone comment that ncc spl entry candidates come without having proper general knowledge. I mean ofcourse this fact no one can deny that other entry's candidates are can be call as prior mentally fit candidates because ofcourse they are coming after clearing the written exams but as we all know that NCC cadets are get trained for whole 36 months in which they get trained physically and mentally as well, and they better know the organization of defence than any other entry's candidates. NCC cadets are trained by defence personnel and they are fit in both ways wether it's mentally of physically, "we can say that defence itself is not believing on their own training program" ..this entry is settled for the shake of advantage to the NCC candidates in the defence services instead of giving actual preferences. anyways..so this tough and rigorous training period made a NCC cadet worthy and proud enough to avail this entry as his/her right. "SSB selection centers should really take steps towards increasing the selection rate".

For me..I have been recommended twice..from 4AFSB Varanasi and 17 SSB Bangalore and was confrence out 6 times..but frankly speaking I dont know what special did I do in the attempts when I got recommended and what didnt when I was not...I was the same in all attempts..So guys, coaching is waste of time..and nobody could twach you how to get recommended..just perform and leave evrythg to God..
When I was not cleae PABT at the very first attempt at the age of 16, I thought the world wass finished for me, but it was not. When I was merit out for NDA, again I thought the world is finished for me..but franly speaking even after I got recommended by 17 SSB, I didnt join Army and joined State Civil Services..I am quite happy here and in 90 percent of cases my friends who are in defence forcea and very disappointed there..I am not discourging anybody but yes...Life has far more scopes than u think.
