When i hear that sound on war thunder i just go as fast as my tank is capable of, without giving a fuck to whatever im ramming, as the sound gets louder and louder. I remember one time that i was alone and I hear it, then i knew, i was about to die.

The Junker's Ju-87 B-2 (Stuka dive bomber) had the "trumpets of Jericho" as a form of psychological warfare. It gave away its location and alarmed enemys, yes. But the upside is most soldiers would either accept their fate or have a traumatic episode causing them to either stay in the open frozen or made idiotic mistakes like causing allies to come in blast radius


Side note: the B-2 was the only Ju-87 model that featured the Trumpets of Jericho
