The Imperium is often portrayed as a miserable Empire which is true on some worlds and their locations and value within the Imperium vast military industrial complex it cannot be understated that a majority of worlds are more comparable to our own or even better to it. The Imperium will always focus on its Hive, Fortress, and Forge worlds more compared to the rest of them because they are a lifeline to the survival of the human species in these horrific conflicts against the Alien, the Heretic, and the Daemon.
