Ye Servants of God, Your Master Proclaim (Lyons)

Text by: Charles Wesley 1744
Tune: Lyons by: J Michael Haydn 1737-1806
Source: Trinity Hymnal No 136

Here is my complete recording of the Trinity Hymnal:

1 Ye servants of God, your Master proclaim,
And publish abroad his wonderful Name;
The Name, all victorious, of Jesus extol;
His kingdom is glorious, and rules over all.

2 God ruleth on high, almighty to save;
And still he is nigh--his presence we have:
The great congregation his triumph shall sing,
Ascribing salvation to Jesus, our King.

3 Salvation to God who sits on the throne!
Let all cry aloud and honor the Son:
The praises of Jesus the angels proclaim,
Fall down on their faces and worship the Lamb.

4 Then let us adore, and give him his right,
All glory and pow'r, and wisdom and might,
All honor and blessing, with angels above,
And thanks never ceasing for infinite love.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, Mr. Remillard on this 17th of March 2024! I am learning this new hymn with your video's help the Sunday afternoon. It was easy because it's a familiar tune; used for the hymn, O Worship the King. Have a great day in the Lord.

And isn't it nice that the man - Patrick, that was taken as a slave but escaped, when he came to know Christ as his Savior, had a heart to go back to his former captors to free them with the Gospel that had saved and set him truly free too! What a wonderful testimony for the Lord!
