This ad was very effective, a lot of RE fanboys couldn't stomach it. But RE took notes and improved. Old RE was exactly like this and it was an insult to modern mechanical engineering.

I love the fact that RE guys are always trying to help the dominar riders. That's true spirit of riding. Something jerks with a bike will never understand.

All who fight RE vs Dominar...ha...it's hilarious. Just one point you cling on that's it. RE vs Dominar is not only about rivalry on long trips etc etc. Try to feel the characters of both the bikes, completely different.

RE, it is always a pride because it has been used by the army for a very long period and no RE owner can deny that he has had that feeling....the pride. Coming to the ride, it's a bike for slow riding and enjoying even your shortest ride. Everytime you hear the combustion of the RE it's a feeling without words and you want to keep hearing.

On the other hand except from sharing the cruising mode feel Dominar is a different ball game. Everything you want to do in a RE but you can't and you don't want is Dominar. You can rev, go fast, manoeuvre, brake late and quick. The riding poster unlike bullet is more agressive but will give you the same comfort as RE in long rides.

Guys please don't fight re vs Dominar. True rider would love to have both.

Bajaj with these ads are hitting themselves in the face with the hammer. The Dominar 400 is a very good motorcycle and even without slinging mud at Enfields, they could have captured a lot of the Indian Market with it's features alone. Enfields being as old as they are hold a special place in most Indians hearts, our dads & uncles included. Moreover, the Dominar is head and shoulders above the Enfields in the city traffic, they could have promoted it as more of a powerful commuter+sports tourer. After more than a year of it's launch, I don't see that many Dominars on the streets which in part is because of the animosity that Bajaj generated by the way they promoted their product.
