Python Modern GUI | Tkinter Multiple Pages | Switch Tkinter Multiple Frame | Part 2

👋 Hello guys This YouTube video is the second part of a two-part video series on creating a modern-looking toggle menu in Tkinter that allows users to switch multiple pages in a Tkinter window.

The video starts with a brief recap of the first part, which covers the creation of the basic Tkinter window, menu bar, page icons, and indicators. The video then proceeds to the second part, which focuses on completing the program by adding the functionality to extend and fold the menu bar, as well as switching between multiple pages.

The functionality to extend the menu bar when the toggle menu button is clicked is created using the extend_menu_bar function. This function increases the width of the menu bar frame to extend it. Additionally, the toggle menu icon is changed to a close button icon after the menu bar is extended.

The functionality to fold the menu bar when the close button icon is clicked is created using the fold_menu_bar function. This function decreases the width of the menu bar frame to fold it. Furthermore, the close button icon is changed back to the toggle menu icon after the menu bar is folded.

The extend_menu_bar and fold_menu_bar functions are configured as the button commands for the toggle menu button and close button icon, respectively. This allows the menu bar to be extended and folded by clicking these buttons.

Finally, the video explains how to switch between multiple pages by clicking the page option buttons or the page name labels. This functionality is implemented by adding the switch_indication function to the page option buttons and page name labels. The switch_indication function takes a page function as an argument and displays the specified page in the page frame while destroying the currently displayed page.

Overall, this video provides a comprehensive tutorial on how to create a modern-looking toggle menu in Tkinter with multiple page switching functionality.
