I love this build, it's old school and different but he's so pumped about it and loves it and that goes to show you what a real basshead is!

reminds me of one of my first builds out of salvaged parts of my fathers stuff from the 80s.

We've come a long way but the basic principals never change. Keep bumpin dude.

such a simple set up, it’s a breath of fresh air to see. It’s just so authentic. Bass in its purest form

one of the first audio build vids ive seen where the view of the subs actually has bass and not just mechanical noise. shout out to the old school bass heads! As always another great vid Exo

This is a gem to find in that I'm happy to see one that has multiple subs that are utterly sealed apart and have the capability to be ported or not.
This not only enables the user to experiment on each side however he wants but also to keep each sub from being affected by the others' sub(lol)tle parameters.
I do believe that a sub that is literally sealed off has only the air in the cab to contend with. There will be a resonant frequency. The port can tune this up or down to a
POINT and too large/short a port is closer to free-air whereas too small/long a port is closer to sealed. Another way, MAYBE, might be to add 'pods' of airspace to the outside of a cab, like side bags on a horses' saddle, that do not obstruct the view out the back of a vehicle. This could work the other way, also...think about it...
Innies and Outies, lol. Sub-ins, Sub-outs, lol. Have A Nice Day (HAND) 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

My buddy has a couple XLC's that can still get down. Good to see that old school RF is still around

I used to have those subs! Ran them off a punch 60 ix and 2ohm load...those RF amps seemed to do fine on lower than rated impedance.

I remember when some manufacturers like Kicker would make loaded enclosures with ports and had these caps that you inserted into the ports to make them sealed...certainly an old school idea.

I had 10 15 inch punch subs in my old s10 back in the day. I used too run them sealed until I built my first 4th order. Back then 150's was king and it would hit 151's all day.
