Your vpn info is incorrect. Netflix block VPN proxies daily. It may work for an hour or 2 but guaranteed it will get blocked. Express VPN does not work with netflix for regional access. VPN access was blocked years ago.

Is there a way to search through the subtitles / closed captioning to find a particular piece of dialogue?

For example, if you were watching a multi-season TV show and wanted to find where a character said a certain line that you happen to remember.

Changing region from vpn for netflix doesnot work. When i cange the region for netflix show which is not in our country, netflix show error by saying *you seems to be using proxy or vpn please turned it of*

Using a vpn in netflix is not safe, first netflix can detect your vpn by just an hour or less and if your vpn is not strong enough netflix can easily detect it and second it can ban your netflix account according to my research. So the great answer watching content that is not available on your country is by finding a netflix alternative what i meant is other streaming service such as hulu, prime video, disney plus, etc . Well yes it will cost you money but there are many free netflix alternatives that has more content than the actual netflix but the thing was its illegal but who cares you have free movies . Look im not saying Express vpn, nord vpn, cyberghost or other vpns are dangerous they are fine vpns, they are good for accessing websites that are not available on your country or blocked on your country but its just not worth it by using it on netflix and plus when i tried using express vpn on netflix its super slow. so yeah I recommend you find other streaming services that are paid or free than using a vpn that can ban your netflix account.
