In this video, we're taking a look at a few Hohem M7 tips and tricks. A revolutionary smartphone gimbal that can do way more than just stabilize your footage. The Hohem M7 features a wireless control unit that allows you to adjust the gimbals settings, create keyframes for timelapses or repeatable pans and tilts, start and stop recording, and more. However, the most unique feature of this control unit is that it doubles as a wireless video transmission. You're able to see what the AI sensor sees allowing you to easily frame yourself. More so, you can also start and stop tracking by simply double tapping or drawing a box around the subject you want to track. The Hohem M7 even supports object tracking for the first time which works very well! There are tons of other awesome features on the M7 so make sure to watch the video and let me know what you think! If you would like to see a comparison to the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 or the Insta360 Flow Pro let me know in the comments.

Best review out there !
(Really, I watched much more review of the M7 that I would publically admit…. 🙄)

Going in 5 weeks trip to Indonesia in few days, I was having choice paralysis to decide in between taking my RS3 and traveling light…
The idea of a smartphone gimbal for my iphone 15 pro started to grow on me, but as a professional videographer, I’m wasn’t so sure about filming exclusively with my phone…

But now, with the top down trick (tripod + extend) you totally got me there !
Maybe I take it for the trip, maybe not. But now it has a use-case anyway !
Very creative 👏

Hi Johnathan! I just bought this gimbal and was trying to film a car video for YouTube. When I got home I realized the film looked too shaky and a little “bouncy”. I’ve read up on something called dead band. Is this something that can be adjusted on the gimbal? Or how do I get a steadier shot
