I've found that you can just ask for another meal or something and they will accommodate. They know some people are birds and some are lions.

Plus I always have some snacks in my backpack.

You need to try Qantas premium economy from London to Perth - ok so no lie flat bed but it was better than a lot of business class flights I’ve been on. Super impressive service! 🥳

EVA Premium Economy LHR - BKK is pretty good. You can pre order your meals and the food is fairly good.

I always found Business Class seats on other airlines (e.g. Oman Air, their Business Class is AMAZING) for much cheaper than Emirates Premium Economy!

I flew from Alaska to the East Coast and flew premium. It's about the same price and we only received snacks and no meals and no entertainment on our seat backs so, I would say with the widebody, 2 meals, hot wash clothes and pre flight drink. You had a better flight than what I paid for for the amount of time I spent traveling.

You get the same in BA, and amenity kits, and snacks… yeah sure the seats don’t look as fancy but I feel that service and food wise it’s not much different but BA don’t sell those for much more than a few hundred more than economy.
